Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. As a musical theatre performer, she has worked with Atlanta's leading professional theaters, including Aurora Theatre, Horizon Theater, Actor's Express, and Theatre in the Square, winning the 2017 Suzi Bass Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical (Bridges of Madison County) and earning a nomination in 2018 (Mamma Mia). Ms. Markiton holds a GA teaching certificate and brings over 10 years of experience as a Special Education and Elementary Music teacher in public schools. Though she can sing and coach virtually any genre, her voice instruction is firmly grounded in the Italian classical style, with the goal of helping students explore and enjoy their own unique voice in the healthiest way possible. She has studied voice with Beverly Blouin, Irene Harrower, and Walter Huff. The London born performer grew up in Uganda and Ethiopia, moving to the United States for high school and university. All her travels and adjustments bring a nuanced worldview into her music. Taking inspiration from artists like Tracy Chapman, Lianne LaHavas, and Sheryl Crow, Nanseera weaves together poetic stories of losing home, love, and sense of self, then somehow finding them again. Nanseera released her debut album American Odyssey in 2022. The project loosely follows her road trip with friends and a journey of personal discovery. After going on her first solo tour In 2024, she released her single Colours. Nanseera studied Modern Artist Development and Entrepreneurship and minored in Songwriting at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. She has also played multiple times at Eddie’s Attic. She has competed in (2018) and judged (2024) the Eddie’s Attic Songwriter Shootout. She teaches singers with careers on Broadway, professional singer songwriters, and nationally known opera singers.
